Prices
Prices listed do not include delivery and handling fees, taxes and transaction fees and are subject to correction or change without notice.

Sales Tax
Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes. Products may be subject to 6% CT sales tax.

Payment Terms
Nutmeg accepts cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, and purchase order numbers. For customers using purchase orders, payment terms are net 30 days from the date of shipment. Anticipation and cash discounts are not allowed. All payments must be in U.S. dollars. If customer fails to make payment within thirty (30) days, Nutmeg may defer shipments until such payment is made, or may, at its option, cancel all or any part of unshipped order.

Credit Balance
Customer agrees that any credit balances issued will be applied within one (1) year of its issuance. If not applied or requested within one (1) year, any balance remaining will be subject to cancellation, and Nutmeg shall have no further liability.

Shipping Charges
Products may be shipped with delivery costs and handling fees charged to the customer. C.O.D. shipments are not permitted. Other terms and conditions may apply for special handling or shipments outside the contiguous United States. Any extra charges incurred for additional services, such as customer's carrier or special handling by the carrier, must be paid by the customer. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. If product is damaged in transit, customer must file claim with the carrier.

Web Site Security
Nutmeg security is a priority. Nutmeg continually reviews and updates the security methods implemented to protect information transmitted via the web site, including measures to secure and protect all personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, and alteration. Nutmeg uses industry-standard encryption technology to provide for the security of vital information. Nutmeg’s web site is certified by VeriSign, which verifies that our web site is authentic and that all transactions are secured by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Nutmeg, however, cannot guarantee that any electronic commerce is totally secure.

Nutmeg currently uses a "cookie" on our site. Our cookies tag each visitor's browser with a random, unique number. The cookie simply assigns a number and does not disclose any personal information about the person using the browser. By noting where these uniquely numbered browsers go on our site, we can study traffic patterns and improve our site to better fit our clients’ needs.
